We joined The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) last week at two workshops to define the requirements for Brownfield Site register. The workshops, one in London, and one in Manchester, were attended by local authorities who had been invited by DCLG to take part.
We are now forming a smaller technical group from those councils to work with so that we can propose a schema for the Registers.

We have been exploring data and development of managed systems to support sequential testing (land use, availability, achievability and viability) and the development of interactive public portal arrangements which could be used in brownfield land registers (and underpin their defensibility). We understand that you are involved in the current pilot programme and would obviously like to have some discussion on the programme and possible collaborations.
