We are excited to announce the launch of the Scalable Approach to Vulnerability Via Interoperability (SAVVI) playbook, a groundbreaking tool designed to help organisations identify and support vulnerable individuals more effectively. The SAVVI playbook is a programme hosted by Tameside Council, on behalf of the UK local public sector, and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) within the Local Digital Fund.
The Challenge of Identifying Vulnerable Individuals
In today’s complex social landscape, identifying vulnerable individuals is a significant challenge. No single organisation has access to all the data and insight needed to predict who may be at risk, and no single organisation has all the support services required to provide effective support. This is where SAVVI comes in – a program designed to bridge this gap by promoting the use of data to improve early identification and smarter interventions for vulnerable individuals and households.
What is the SAVVI Playbook
The SAVVI Playbook is a comprehensive guide that sets out the steps and resources needed to find and support vulnerable individuals. It provides a structured approach to vulnerability initiatives, enabling organisations to reuse investments in technologies and data sharing across multiple initiatives. This means that we can be better prepared for future emergencies and crises.
