We are thrilled to share some exciting news from the iStandUK Executive Board! Our mission to promote data standards that enhance efficiency, transformation, and transparency in local public services across the UK has just gained momentum with the addition of three remarkable individuals. Each brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge, strengthening our commitment to improving public sector interoperability.

Meet Our Newest Board Members

Andrea Fitzgerald – Regional Head North, Crown Commercial Service

Joining us is Andrea Fitzgerald, whose experience in delivering interoperable outcomes through procurement makes her an invaluable asset to our team. Andrea shared her enthusiasm for joining the iStandUK Board, stating, “After working to deliver interoperable outcomes via Procurement for CCS customers, I was excited to discover iStandUK and be invited to join the board. One of the biggest challenges to achieving interoperability in the public sector is the inconsistency of data standards across different systems. By collaborating with iStandUK and its member organizations, we can establish uniformity and provide interoperable outcomes and services.”

Lewis Greenwood – Assistant Director of Policy and Strategy, Wigan Council

Next, we have Lewis Greenwood, a strategic senior leader at Wigan Council. With extensive experience in overseeing key strategies and policies, Lewis’s skills in transformation, performance, and crisis communications will greatly enhance our board. Lewis expressed his excitement upon joining, saying, “I’m delighted to continue being involved with the amazing team and extended family at iNetwork by joining the iStandUK Executive Board. I’m passionate about the use of data, insight, and intelligence, and I’m keen to share experiences and learning from some of the challenges we face across the public sector, as well as explore new ways of working and the opportunities this network brings us.”

Emily Sullivan – Head of Product, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG)

Last but certainly not least, we welcome Emily Sullivan, the Head of Product at MHCLG. Bringing over a decade of experience in digital roles within local government, Emily is eager to contribute to systemic changes that benefit local authorities. She remarked, “I was delighted to be asked to join the iStandUK Executive Board. iStandUK has demonstrated great leadership across the sector, working collaboratively with the central government to enact real change for local authorities. I think there is a real opportunity to collectively overcome some of the systemic challenges that the sector faces, and I am grateful that Local Digital and I are working with iStandUK towards that solution.”

With these new members on board, we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. Each brings unique perspectives and insights that will surely enhance our discussions and initiatives as we continue our mission to improve data standards across the public sector.
