Local Data Ecosystem
Description
Building on the 2015 project, for the Open Data User Group, this project is illustrating how various sources of Linked Data can be selected, listed, filtered, linked, and visualized.
Our prototype uses the Shapes Constraint Language (SHACL) https://www.w3.org/TR/shacl/ to define ‘shapes’ for various sources of linked data so that they can be incorporated into the ecosystem.
The blueprint for the Local Data Ecosystem emphasizes that this is not just about open data, but is also about protected data, based on establishing a right and a purpose to data.
